Currently the fort cannot be seen because it is hidden by a wall and some trees. |
| Even if the trees and the fort's own walls were removed it would not actually be perceived. Because major parts of the building are underground and it is not higher than the houses of the village you could look across it. | |

The only possibility for the fort to be seen would be some sort of tower or signal. It would be possible to see that tower from even out of the town and also look over the land around the fort if standing at the tower. |

A tower as a metaphor for a possible role of the fort in its surroundings. When you climb a tower you loose contact to the very adjacent areas. But you can see areas that you would not even supose to be there. It is also very difficult for the direct surroundings to realize its full size.
We think with such a "tower" we could open the world to the fort as well as we could open the fort to the world. There is no need for a physical tower but today an even more in the future telecommunication could act like a tower that connects people all over the world. |

Telecommunication takes place in a space that is distinct from the real world. It is almost independent on distance, nationality and geographical circumstances. The fort could be an entry to worldwide cooperation.
The term "island" which has often been used in our discussions about the fort is no longer an adequate description. |
